Rev. Catherine Cusumano, M.S., L.Ac.

I received certification in massage from Ashmead School of Massage in Seattle, WA in November 1996. I returned to NYC in March of 2001 where I received a Master of Science in Acupuncture in New York, NY from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in June 2004. The education I received at Tri-State includes Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese and trigger point release style acupuncture. I have been a Reiki practitioner since 1997 and an Ordained Minister since October 2008.

The main focus of my practice is on muscle, bone and structural problems. Soft-tissue injures create a decreased range of motion in the injured area thereby putting more stress on the healthy structures surrounding it. Over time this will impact all the systems of the body including digestion, healthy heart and lung function, healthy weight maintenance and sleep.

Other common health related issues I treat are depression, anxiety, insomnia, irregular menstruation, digestive and respiratory imbalances.
